Natural Pest Control

Directions:

  • Mix 1 1/2 tsp. of Neem oil per quart of Beauty Water (1oz/gallon) plus 1/2 tsp. of mild dish soap or natural Castile soap per quart of Beauty Water (2tsp./gal) as an emulsifier. Shake well, Neem oil may solidify at cooler temperatures. Store the oil above 65°F and below 95°F. If thickened, place bottle in hot water for a few minutes prior to mixing your solution.

Application:

  • Spray the diluted solution generously on all leaf surfaces, including the undersides. This solution can also be used to water the plants. Use once every 2 to 4 weeks.
  • Apply early morning or late afternoon.
  • Do not apply Neem oil in direct sunlight. Always spot test plants first for sensitivity to sprays.
  • We’ve used this recipe with great success on a wide variety of plants and infestations, the plants respond to it very well. Also makes a great leaf polish for plants like fiddle leaf ficus.
  • Warning: Keep Neem oil out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest drink, eat, vaporize or smoke herbs that may have left over Neem residue. Always rinse edible plants thoroughly prior to consumption. Do not use Neem oil close to harvest to allow it to dissipate prior to consumption.
